Mirena
I have had my Mirena in for about 4 weeks now. I can feel the strings like normal. Does this mean that it is working and definitely protecting me against pregnancy?

The pill/ Mirena
Hey! Two weeks ago I got the Mirena inserted. I was already taking the combined pill but I decided to get the Mirena to have the most reliable method possible. 7 days after my Mirena was inserted I stopped taking my pill (as the doctor ordered). I’ve now been bleeding for about days which I believe ...

The pill (discharge)
Hi there, I’ve been on the pill for a few years now. I never miss a pill and always take my pill free week. This month my period finishes and I started a new pack, 5 days later I experienced some brown coloured discharged. This usually only happens to me a day or to after my period ends, not 5 days ...

Heavy bleeding
Hi! I’m sorry I have one more question for you guys,
I’m on the combined contraceptive pill as I said before. I get a pretty heavy period in my pill free week, i have to change my pad every hour or two. Does this mean my pill isn’t working?

Contraceptive methods

Re: Withdrawal bleeding
Hi thanks so much! And I shouldn’t technically have much risk of pregnancy as I use the combo pill (I take it religiously, I have never missed on or been late) and also use a condom just incase.(I just don’t want to risk that 1% chance) However I saw somewhere online that a withdrawal bleed didn’t m...

Withdrawal bleeding
Hi there, I’m on the combined pill and get a regular withdrawal bleed on my pill free week that is reasonably heavy (I can tell it’s a proper bleed and not just spotting or anything) and it lasts about 5 days. Just like a normal heavy period. Does having this act as an indication that I am not pregn...
