Hi there,
I accidentally touched my cervix when checking for the paragard iud strings and it hurt a little, the strings are in place but since I touched the cervix, is there a chance I dislodged it? Or is this a non issue?
Thanks!

Question about HPTs and effectiveness rates
What is the effectiveness rate of having sex on day 26 of a 28 day cycle plus using the withdrawal method? If I used a pregnancy test the morning after, would it be accurate? We only had sex once this month

Quick clarification: withdrawal/pre-ejaculate
Hey there,
after reading the article about what the percentages are for every sexual act, i have a question: It says that the withdrawal method is 96% effective, but does that take into account/consideration if the man has urinated since his last ejaculation?

Re: How pregnancy works question
Yes i read this, it says "aren't likely to" regarding penis to hand to vulva. What does "aren't likely to" mean? 0% chance?

How pregnancy works question
Hey there, I was reading the "dry humping freak out" article and it really opened my eyes since I never had any formal sex Ed classes so I am very thankful for that! I am confused about one thing though, it says in the article: “They [sperm] need the properties of semen in order to move. A...

Re: Spotting birth control pill
Ok great, so the only explanation for this spotting can be the pill right? If not, what other explanations are there?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: Spotting birth control pill
Oh ok so basically since I am up to date on my tests, the only explanation for this spotting is the pill then right? I just had my period last week so it can't be pregnancy right?

Re: Spotting birth control pill
When I was at planned parenthood 2 months ago they tested me for STDs but I'm not sure about STIs. Would I know if I had an STI?
I shouldn't be worried about this affecting my regular bleeding at the end of the month right? This bleeding is common for girls on the pill?

If it doesn't stop after a certain point should I talk to my doctor? Is it bad to have spotting?

Confusion about missed pill
Ok, so my pamphlet says this regarding one missed pill: "take it as soon as you remember. Take your next pill at regular time. This may mean having two pills in one day." So if I missed my pill on Thursday that I regularly take everyday at 9:58 pm, and I didn't remember until the day after...

Yes I am up to date. No I didn't take a break, and I had the discharge only after I started the new pill, and then I got my period. Then about a week after my period ended I saw the discharge again. I only saw it twice so far and only after sex

Brown discharge and Birth Control Pill
I have been on levora for a month and a half so far, after changing from tri sprintec which I was previously on for 7 months. The discharge is only after I have intercourse and it's not a lot, but I'm just wondering if this is normal? The discharge is around the beginning-middle of my cycle. Can thi...

Re: Birth control pill
I have been doing a lot of reading and it seems as if it is very common for women to experience brown discharge (spotting) during their cycle when they first start the pill. I have been on tri sprintec for 7 months and did not get any discharge, I then switched over to a new brand Levora 2 months ag...

Re: Birth control pill
I used to be on a stronger combination pill for 7 months, then I switched to a lower dose one that I'm currently on for almost 2 months now, I switched due to nausea. So that's common when switching pills? so I should not think it has anything to do with pregnancy?

Re: Birth control pill
Is that because the pill goes directly to the stomach and other methods do not?
Oh ok so the one I missed on Thursday I ended up taking it the next day on Friday, three hours before the one I took at my normal time, so I took two in one day, so it seems as if I should be fine.
