Re: Daylight Savings
So the majority of the time people that become pregnant while on the pill are people that miss pills or do not take them correctly? Because I know Redskies said that the effectiveness is calculated over a year but if you don't miss any pills in the particular pack then you should pretty well be cove...

Re: Daylight Savings
So if I am understanding correctly, whenever you start a new pack of pills and you take all of them without missing any then you should not ovulate? I'm sorry if I sound like I'm being repetitive. Once I was told that the pills from the previous pack come into play.

Re: Daylight Savings
I'm just curious about this and maybe you have a link that explains it but I know when you're on the pill you're not suppose to ovulate. So whenever you get your period and start a new pack of pills (or a new cycle) and you don't miss any of those pills in that month and take them on time, shouldn't...

Re: Daylight Savings
Hi! I have another question about the terms "typical or perfect use".. If I take all of my pills at 9:30 or say for instance this month when the time changed and I continued to take them at 9:30 instead of changing the time, is that considers typical or perfect use? I haven't missed any pi...

Re: Daylight Savings
Thank you for the reply! So that many pills in a row being off schedule (instead of me taking them at 9:30) won't matter?

I take my BC pills every night at the same time (9:30). When the time changed I continued to take them at 9:30 every night. Is the effectiveness decreased since I didn't change the time that I take the pill?

Re: Do I have to chew my BC?
Well the packing directions say to chew but I looked online on minastrin 24 fe website and I'm the frequently asked questions it says you can do either so I wasn't sure since it doesn't say you can swallow whole in the instructions.

Do I have to chew my BC?
I'm taking Minastrin 24 Fe and the package insert says to chew the pill and drink water but I looked up the package insert online and in the FAQ it says you can either chew or just swallow the pill whole. I wasn't sure which is correct since it's coming from the same place. Could one of you tell me ...

Re: Missed pill - not made up for
Hello there, Indigo. The best thing to do after missing a pill would be to follow the instructions of the brochure that comes with your pills. In case you don't have that, you can always go to their website. Usually after a missing pill, you have to take the missing pill AND your current day pill. ...

Re: Sex after missed pill
I'm sorry if I'm being confusing.. I know in my pill pack it says if you miss a pill take it when you remember and you don't need a back up.. If you miss two pills you have to have a 7 day back up. It's just confusing since the pill pack doesn't give instructions for completely missing a pill but I ...

Re: Sex after missed pill
I didn't know if that counted for missing a pill completely.. Which I don't know if I missed it but I didn't have a pill to take in case so I was just trying to be on the safe side. If I waited 7 days from the time I might have missed the pill, would the effectiveness be back up? I normally take the...

And I'm not sure if it makes a difference but the pill that I might have missed was the 2nd Sunday in my pack. I'm a Sunday starter.

Also I checked my pill pack and it just says something about missed pills (to take them when you remember) I didn't see where it says something like my case.

Re: Sex after missed pill
I take my birth control pills at 9:30 every night. Not this past Sunday but the one before (the 20th) I fell asleep early and when my alarm went off I don't remember waking up and taking my pill but the pill was no longer in the pack and I couldn't find it in my bedroom anywhere so I'm assuming I to...

Sex after missed pill
If you miss a combination birth control pill (as in completely missed, not taken when remembered) can you have unprotected intercourse 7 days after missing the pill and be protected? I don't have unprotected sex, but in the instance that the condom broke, I'm just curious. Your website is very helpf...

Re: Question about Period
If you go on vacation and the time changes by an hour does that make a difference when taking birth control pills? Say for instance I take my pill every night at 9:30 but when I go on vacation the time is 1 hour ahead.. Would my pill be less effective if I take my pill at 9:30 my vacation time (so a...

Re: Question about Period
Thank you for the reply! I never considered the changing of hormones, but I'm on birth control pills. My understanding was if you have a period then the shedding of the lining made it to where nothing could implant. Is bleeding during the placebo pills the same thing as a "period"? I've he...

Question about Period
I'm just trying to find out a little bit about what exactly the period does.. I know when you have a period it is shedding the liner.. So if you have sex two or three days before your period but then you get your period, does that mean that you couldn't get pregnant from that sex you had? My friend ...

Re: Condom protection
No thank you though. What I was asking is if my test would be accurate being 22 days since intercourse (since she said 14 days after) or if I would have to wait until my missed period? I didn't know if the missed period made the difference.

Hi again! I know anytime you have intercourse you put yourself at a chance of becoming pregnant but do you think from my situation I'm pregnant? I was wondering just out of curiosity.. How easy is it for semen to get to the top of the condom and leak out?
