Plan B

So I took Plan B as a precautionary measure to a condom break about a week ago, less than 24 hours after the incident. I’m on a combined bc but as of a few days ago I’ve been very nauseated which is super out of the ordinary for me so early in my pack. How long can Plan B mess with your body after y...

Re: Birth Control Effectiveness

Also, although this is an unrelated question, how long after conception would a women start to experience pregnancy symptoms? I've heard that the first is a missed period, but would it be possible to have frequent urination, vomiting, or cramping a week or more after conception and before the missed...

Re: Birth Control Effectiveness

So does that mean that taking the pill late or missing the pill would lean someone more towards the typical use, and taking it in the appropriate windows leans more towards perfect use? Just hypothetically speaking!

Birth Control Effectiveness

I know with the Combined Birth Control pill, you should take it the same time every day. But is there a window where if you take it later it is still effective? Also, if you take it past that window one day, but start up at the same time continuously every day afterwards, when will it be effective a...

Perfect vs Typical Use

Hello! I was just wondering if y'all could tell me the difference between "perfect" and "typical" use when it comes to the pill and withdrawal, specifically. I looked at the calculations sheet you made with all different forms and combinations of birth control (which was very hel...

Re: After sex

Alright, so next time I'll make sure there's extra lubricant! And I have an additional question, just based on the calculations of the effectiveness of methods of birth control So if you use two methods together, but hypothetically one of them fails, there is a still no chance of pregnancy? Only if ...

Re: After sex

It was very sore the first time, not so much the second
And no, just the lubrication on the condom
Should I have used more than that?

Re: After sex

I thought there was enough lubrication, and I don't think that I was nervous.. If anything I would've been more the first time than I was the second time

After sex

I've realized I ask you guys a lot of questions haha, you're just so reliable! So I've had sex 2 times now, and both times I've bled. After the first time it was for about a day and a half, and this time it's been two days. It hasn't been necessarily heavy, but it's still there. I thought the bleedi...

Effectiveness of BC alone?

My boyfriend and I have decided to have sex, and I have been on the birth control pill for about 3 months. I've heard from friends (who are also on the pill) that they did not use a condom, but pulled out and had no problems. I have never been sure if there are sperm in precum, but I wanted to know ...

Re: Unusual Period..?

Now I'm confused though, since for two days I had the dark paste like stuff, then for the past two days I've had a light brown discharge, and now nothing... No blood

Unusual Period..?

Hello! This may be a little tmi, but I'm honestly just curious. So like I said in my previous post I started birth control, and I have a tracker that says my period should be expected within the next few days. This started yesterday, but I've been discharging a very dark brown paste...? Like, its no...

Re: New on pill

Thank you! And in theory, for future reference, if I became pregnant on the pill I wouldn't bleed heavily consecutively, correct? Just spotting?

New on pill

I started the pill on the first day of my period, but it was mainly just discharge and small spots of blood. I had a very heavy flow for 4 days, it stopped, and then I bled again for 2 more days. I've only ever had dry sex, but recently I've felt very nauseous and my breasts are VERY sore... Is this...

Re: Oral sex

I guess I was just wondering how possible it is that he could have one. Part of me believes that he could have some and the other part doesn't. Isn't it true that STIs can be passed on by birth?

Oral sex

I gave my boyfriend unprotected oral sex yesterday, and neither of us have had any sexual partners at all, just each other. I know the risk of STIs are still present, but how worried should I be about it? It makes me think that the risk is very low considering we are both still virgins. I guess this...

Breast Soreness

Hello! I've recently just had a normal period, heavy and for six days. I normally get sore breasts leading up to my period, which I did, but now they still are in a lot of pain almost a week after. I was wondering what the reasons could be for this and how I can fix it; I'm obviously NOT pregnant, a...
