Constipation on Birth Control
*May be a bit graphic.* I am so frustrated! Can birth control cause constipation? The problem is I go everyday but it's very little and the stool size is different. It takes a while for me to go and I have to push quite a little. I noticed it does subside on my placebo week and on my period then com...

Re: Breast tenderness on birth control
Okay thank you for your help! Yeah, I figured it should be the pill. Pregnancy shouldn't be the case because I've only had intercourse about 6 days ago so it can't be that, plus I'm very good about my pills.

Breast tenderness on birth control
I recently just switched to another birth control with a higher dose of estrogen called Sprintec and I noticed a week before my period I've gotten sore breasts on both sides. I was wondering why that is? I've heard that sore breasts on the side meant you have ovulated?

Re: Birth control effective
The day I started my pack late was February 24 instead of 22. I did actually have a light period but the days I had imtercourse was only about a week before my cycle started so I didn't think it was enough time to tell if I could've been pregnant by missing a period. I did start my pack on time afte...

Re: Birth control effective
@redskies, that's exactly what I meant! I started the new pack a couple days after my cycle. And the leaflet wasn't too informative. It says to take 2 pills the next day and use back up for a week. But in my situation I chose to start late so I didn't take those pills.

Re: Birth control effective
It isn't my first time on birth control pills. But I decided to start my pack a couple days later than usual and waited about 2 weeks to have imtercourse. I've just heard some doctors say wait a week and some say a month. How come it isn't just one of those. A bit confusing.

Birth control effective
I've heard a couple different timings as to when birth control is effective. Is it one month or 7 days? I've been on birth control for about 6 plus months. Last month I switched from Gildess 1/20 to Sprintec. When switching to Sprintec I decided I wanted to change the start date of my pack to change...

Switching birth control.
Hey scarleteen, I have a question regarding birth control. So I was taking Microgestin Fe 1/20 for about 6 months. I decided to switch last month to sprintec and I really didn't like it. I decided I wanted to switch back to Microgestin because it worked well with me except for some minor problems li...
