Re: His past

Thank you guys, I've been trying to keep a journal but I start slacking with that. I'd really prefer not to be with my experiences with it, but looking into counseling won't hurt anything and ill start considering that instead of immediately turning down the idea.

Re: His past

He's done an amazing job over the years. He's never gotten angry with me when I have my moments, sometimes frustrated with how often it happens or with me torturing myself with things but never angry and that's helped a lot. He's always told me (even when there weren't others involved) to tell him w...

Re: His past

We've talked about it. He's told me anything I wanted to know and my issue is worrying I'm not good enough or that he's comparing me to them or wishing I were more like them even though he tells me he doesn't. We dated for almost three years before we took a break and have been back together for alm...

His past

My boyfriend and I took a year break due to long distance and during that break he has had three one night stands and another girlfriend, and I had another boyfriend. We've since gotten back together but I'm struggling to deal with his past partners and wondering if he's comparing me to them and wis...

Re: Bleeding and pain after period

I was guessing that, but didn't want to make a guess if it sounded like something serious and not go see someone. But it started in between being off the birth control for a couple days and taking plan b. It makes sense though, I'll definitely being keeping an eye on things. Thank you

Bleeding and pain after period

My period started on the 16 and ended the 21/22. On the 25 I had unprotected sex and took Plan B a couple hours ago because I was camping and couldn't get to a place that had it until today and didn't realize I hadn't packed my birth control. Sometime yesterday, I started bleeding a little bit but d...

Re: PID?

I realized I never responded to this and for that I sincerely apologize and talking to you helped me immensely when dealing with this situation. It took a few months to get over the violated feeling. I didn't want to be touched by anyone and I definitely didn't want to have sex for a while either be...

Re: Burning?

I feel great in my relationship with him, it's just different for me going from a long term relationship before him with someone I grew with and learned what I did and didn't like to someone who I'm their first and now they're having to learn. My ex made everything about sex, we'd be in the car or h...

Re: Burning?

He doesn't really seem interested in sex in general. He's told me he doesn't want blow jobs, (not complaining about) or for me to really touch him anywhere in the genital area which I've respected. Some people just aren't into that, we don't do much foreplay except for me which makes me feel weird b...

Re: Burning?

I have talked to him about it, and I just recently got over a yeast infection so that's why I wasn't sure if it was left over pain from that or because I wasn't fully ready or not. It's also kind of weird when I talk to him about things because I'm the first person he's been with whereas I've had a ...

Burning?

I'm not quite sure what this would fall under, and it's awkward going to my mom about it, but I get this burning feeling whenever I start having sex and I don't know if it's just because maybe I'm not completely turned on enough or something else like a yeast infection I need to be concerned about? ...

Re: Birth Control question

It's never been exact, but I can usually narrow it down to either the day it's supposed to start on the period app I have and it'll end up starting that night or the next morning. This was just something new that I don't remember if it's happened before when I started a new pill because I haven't sw...

Re: Birth Control question

So I shouldn't freak out about it too much since in a way it's normal for some? I don't think I've ever had this happen before that I can remember but it seems like a normal period. I had really bad cramps before hand and it started off bright red but now it's darker, just two days early than usual....

Re: Birth Control question

I have a follow up question to the switching situation. I switched about three weeks ago and my period should be starting on the 17, going off of when I was on Ortho Tricyclen lo. But this is my first period being on ortho tricyclen. I think my period started tonight, but it's two days early. It's b...

Re: Birth Control question

So starting on ortho tricyclen as soon as I get it and going through at least a week or two of it, I should be fine to rely on it?

Re: Birth Control question

My question is only if there is a waiting period like when you switch birth controls. I got put on ortho tricyclen instead of ortho tricyclen lo so i'm only wandering if I need to wait the usual month or two like if I went to a completely different form of birth control, or if it doesn't take as lon...

Birth Control question

I'm currently on ortho tricyclen lo and it's been working perfectly up until recently. I first got on birth control to help with my PMS because I was constantly angry for no reason, and it really helped keep that all in check. Now I'm starting to feel more like I did when before I started on birth c...

Re: PID?

I appreciate the help and advice from everyone here. Things have gotten a little bit better, I'm back at work and my mom has kind of laid off some. I feel less upset about the whole thing really, not completely because I still think I should have been completely informed on what was going to happen ...

Re: PID?

It's kind of ironic that a complete stranger is able to pick up on the difficulties I'm facing at home. It's one of those situations where as soon as I'm 18, I'm getting away from family. It happens, it's sad, but it happens. I don't think I'll need to do another pelvic exam until next month when I ...

Re: PID?

The way my mom is, she'd find out and then be pissed off about it. We all have a gps thing on our phones so I can't turn it off without her asking questions. I'm already having a tough time dealing with the move and long distance thing, so I could play it off as it being that. She doesn't have to kn...

Re: PID?

I've been thinking about going to a counselor since I've gone to one in the past and it helped. The issue with that is I'm still a minor so I can't do it by myself. I'd have to tell my mom about it, and since my parents are divorced she'd have to inform my dad about it as well. Stating why I was goi...

Re: PID?

The thing is, my mom and I had to do a required physical before we could move for my step dads job. I have no idea why, but whatever. It was no big deal for me. But they required my mom to get a pelvic exam done, even though she had a hysterectomy several years before, they still wanted her to do on...

Re: PID?

I knew what a pelvic exam was from hearing about it and reading up on it some, so I wasn't completely uneducated on what would happen. But it wasn't a normal exam from what I could tell. I knew I had to do it in order to find out what was wrong with me since they had done every external exam there w...

Re: PID?

Having never dealt with this kind of thing before, I have no idea what I'm supposed to be feeling - if it's normal or not - and while talking to my boyfriend helped, he doesn't fully understand the situation. He knows what happened, but he's never experienced it himself and he wasn't actually there....
