I haven't and I don't think there is much I can do.

Re: Losing my patience with my grandmother's transition related excuses.

One place to start would be to see if LGBT resources in your area (or even your state) have information on places or practitioners who you could access (these will often be under a "resources" tab or something like that). Do you have a general healthcare provider you're seeing right now? ...

Re: I'm pansexual, but I have preferences?

Definitely, people can all sorts of misconceptions about pansexuality. If they mention that one, you can correct them and say "personality matters, but I still have certain features that I find attractive." Misconceptions like "I fuck frying pans" are especially fun to run with ...

Re: I'm pansexual, but I have preferences?

That's pretty typical! Even folks who are attracted to more than one gender usually find that they have certain characteristics that they find attractive or prefer, it's just that gender might not be one of them (if that makes sense). One thing that doesn't help is that people think it's attraction...

Losing my patience with my grandmother's transition related excuses.

My grandmother wouldn't let me take blockers for the reason of her needing to "protect herself" during this custody case. Now, the same excuse I got for voice training, guess I'll have to add that to list of shit to do myself. :/

I'm pansexual, but I have preferences?

Like mainly general stuff, like significant others being taller, maybe a little stronger than me... figure-wise, I care less about. And like, I like them to be a little possessive, and protective of me.

Re: Sentimental Items

My boyfriend has given me a couple of stuffed animals, which of course are great for hugging. One is a rabbit because my house at school once discussed our "spirit animals" (what animal fits your personality) and I decided mine was a rabbit. The other is a very realistic elephant. Having ...

Re: Sentimental Items

It's such a nice feeling to have that little piece of paper in my pocket, or to find one in a pair of jeans I haven't washed for a little while. I think I'll keep these notes for a really long time, no matter when the relationship ends. I'm sorry no notes were given back, that wouldn't feel good af...

I had a collar from an ex that I wore all the time, and it helped me when I felt like I needed them or when I was anxious.

Re: Uncomfortable with swimming, any tips?

Hi, I'm AMAB but transfemme or genderfluid I'm not sure. And I understand what you mean by a masculine fit they're large and boxy and reach your knees and they look absolutely ridiculous. What you can try is buying swimming shorts from the women's section which are often much smaller in length and ...

Hi KittyPink, To second what those above have said--it makes a lot of sense to me that you are experiencing dysphoria around periods. That being said, I'm sorry to hear about the dysphoria :( You said you "mark it as something that would make me a girl." And so I think you are wise to thi...

Missing an old friend, I'm afraid she forgot about everyone here.

She was a dear friend that helped me get through a lot, and temporarily convinced my grandmother to let me dress in feminine clothes. But, she moved and hasn't been in contact in quite along time.

Would it be helpful to talk to the counselor again to try to clarify what they said and did exactly? As Karyn said, it sounds like they handled this situation very poorly, which is unfortunate, but talking with them about what they did & how they handled it might give you a better sense of the ...

Re: I have no motivation, I'm shutting down.

I'm still not sure I fully understand what happened, and if the counsellor did not tell you ahead of time that they were going to speak to anyone about the incident with your aunt, then it's understandable you're upset. Even when a report legally has to be made, the person whose safety or wellbeing...

I just want to make sure I understand properly what happened: the counselor you spoke to reported the incident with your aunt, and then told your grandmother that you reported it yourself? Or the counsellor just spoke to your grandmother? The counselor did, which is something I didn't like being do...

That's understandable, although if you want to revisit the possibility in the future, we can always lend a hand with finding resources in your area. For now, is there anything else we can help you with? Not really, other than may trying to explain to me how it sounds like a good idea (protocol or n...

I'm not sure, it just doesn't feel like a good idea after today blew up. (By the way, I'm never trusting counselors again, other than like the one that's currently on maternity leave.)

I'm not sure if making any sort of contact with resources is a good idea, although. Ironically, my grandmother asked if I wanted CPS called.
