Re: The Pill and Spotting?
Yes, sometimes withdrawal bleeds do happen during the active pills, and it doesn't mean that your pill isn't working as it should. Especially in the first few months some irregularity is quite common, but that should settle down as your body adjusts. There's no way to predict, alas, whether you'll h...

Re: I just got a dildo and i cant acheive strong orgasm.
For most people with vaginas (and I am making an assumption here about your anatomy based on what you've posted so far, so if I'm wrong, please correct me) orgasm isn't something that happens from vaginal entry alone: some sort of clitoral stimulation is also required. Whether or not a condom is use...

Re: Workout/Exercise during Period.
Some people find that exercise can help with cramps, partly because of the endorphins (a type of hormone) released during exercise that can help lessen pain. If you're really uncomfortable a seriously strenuous workout probably isn't a great idea, but going for a walk or doing some yoga is worth a t...

Re: What do your wear underneath a strapon penis?
You can wear whatever you like. Being scratched by the toy isn't something you really need to be concerned about, good quality sex toys are not going to have any sharp edges or really rough surfaces, so it just depends what you're comfortable in.

Re: What is this white thing in my vagina? Hymen?
Hi Jtails2. The best person to answer your questions is a healthcare provider, because they'll be able to examine you in person and tell you exactly what's going on. If you want some more information about the hymen (now called the corona) you can have a look at this piece: My Corona: The Anatomy Fo...

Re: TODAY sponge
I'd guess that as long as both parts of the sponge remained in your vagina for the required amount of time after sex, then the effectiveness was not likely reduced much if at all, but your best bet for an answer to this is to call the manufacturer. (Probably sooner rather than later: if the effectiv...

Given the number of questions you've been asking, Mellonhead, have you taken any time at all to go through the articles and advice answers on the main site? There's so much information there that you might find it a quicker way of getting your questions answered. For example, this piece on sexual re...

Re: Sexual identity of the woman who married a bridge
Experiencing sexual attraction to something like a bridge or other inanimate object is often referred to as "object sexuality" or "objectophilia". Having sex with a bridge or a building or any other object isn't really possible in the same sense that it is between people, but obj...

Re: Changing habits that are messing you up
I don't know what advice Heather would give for breaking habits, or if she had specific resources in mind when she made this thread so I'll leave that to her. But again, if you are talking about an addiction or a compulsion here, rather than just a habit (particularly if it has the potential to 'rui...

Re: Attraction Contributing to Growth?
If you're finding you need to buy clothes in new sizes fairly frequently, buying from secondhand stores can save some cash. Learning to sew and/or alter your own clothes can take time, but if you can get your hands on a sewing machine, it can be a cheaper option as well. Stretchy fabrics are always ...

Re: Attraction Contributing to Growth?
Being in a relationship with someone or even just attracted to them can't affect physical development, no. (Nor is horse riding the culprit - all that can do is change muscle tone.) But, puberty can last a lot longer than people tend to think, and our bodies keep changing throughout the whole of our...

Re: birth control and discharge
Having trouble swallowing your pill won't affect anything, as long as you do manage to swallow it. Cramps can happen for all sorts of reasons, sometimes as a side effect of the pill. Unless you're having severe pain, I wouldn't say it's anything you need to be concerned about, but you can always dou...

Re: Combined pill side-effects and copper IUD
Some people do find that the combined pill affects their moods. Sometimes that's a side effect that settles down considerably or disappears after the first few months, sometimes not. With any method, you do want to give your body a few months to adjust before figuring that it's not a good fit for yo...

I'm so glad it was helpful for you! Re: Crazy Withdrawal Bleeding 2
Taking EC can mess with your cycle, but it doesn't always. It's possible that this is your period, even though you had some bleeding earlier: bleeding as a side effect doesn't necessarily mean that you won't have a period when you expect it.

Anyone can be part of that 0.3%. So, it depends how comfortable you are with that level of risk. Using two methods is always going to offer the highest level of protection possible, and condoms have the added benefit of providing protection against STIs as well, so we will always recommend using the...
