Re: Gender dysphoria and health issues
When I refer to intimacy I mean sexual activity with my partner. Yes, I do want to be intimate with my partner and have sex with him. Cooking or the doing other activities I'm interested won't take fill that void. I do have several hobbies that I try to fill my time with when I'm not in too much pai...

Re: Gender dysphoria and health issues
"Have you had the chance to process this big wave of body feelings with your therapist? If so, how has that gone?" I talk about not feeling comfortable being female and having the body parts that I do, but honestly I don't know if my feelings of being non-binary are just me trying to dista...

[quote="birds_chirping"]Hey Ihatemyusername, "Would you say that the feelings you have about your body and your gender identity are innate, or do some/all of them have any influence from our culture/media? Which ones?" Bear with me, as this is turning into a novel. I think it's i...

I like that it means usually means one is not pregnant. I wish there was another way for your body to confirm that with you however.

Gender dysphoria and health issues
I'm in therapy right now for various issues, mostly stemming from issues that have arisen from my being a female. I had tokophobia ever since I was a kid and never saw myself wanting to be a parent. I resented that women were forced to suffer with periods, then pregnancy and the agony of childbirth ...

Re: Why can I only orgasm with a vibrator
Edit: I have discussed personal health issues which have made me anxious so I decided to remove that part of the discussion as its hard to talk about. As long as I know that using a vibrator cannot cause permanent damage/de-sensitization or worse I will feel better.

Why can I only orgasm with a vibrator
I have been with my partner for a few years and was sexually active with a previous partner and have received manual and oral sex from both and neither of them could cause me to orgasm. I decided to try a vibrator and even though I didn't expect much, and it took a long time (or at least it felt lik...

Re: Is it normal to have an abnormal cycle?
My periods are anywhere from 30 to 40 days apart usually around 32 and last 5 or 6 days. I've had my period for over a decade (I got it when I was 10) and have been monitoring it for the past year or so. I do have borderline low thyroid but that has been the case for me for awhile now and I'm in bet...

Is it normal to have an abnormal cycle?
I have this weird habit of checking my cervix/cervical fluids because my period is semi irregular (it varies about 10 days) and I've gotten good at telling by feeling my cervix and the fluids when I'm ovulating and have been able to predict when my period will start within a couple of days. I had a ...

Why do I need labels? What labels apply to me?
Most people hate to be labeled, or so they say but I like them. I like categorizing things as a way to make sense of them. I decided I identify as Ace and I'm pretty happy about it. It explains a lot about my reaction to things and my desires and lack there of. Since I am in a committed relationship...

What's the difference between asexual heteromantic and just a low sex drive?
My partner I are in a committed relationship but we never had intercourse. We tried early on, but we both had some issues that made it difficult and went on to try other forms of sex but neither of us seems to really seek it out. We love each and do not do sexual things with others. He says he never...

Clarification on dry humping
So based on your article on dry humping, am I correct to assume it is safe to have dry sex if my male partner wears briefs, and I wear nothing? The article mentioned mesh shorts, but I want to be sure there's no difference in risk with briefs vs shorts, even if ejaculate or any other fluids are pres...

And do those shorts have underwear underneath them? Because most people wear underwear under their shorts in the first place to my understanding.

Dry humping clarification about prior posts
Is dry humping considered safe if only one partner is wearing just (men's) underwear and the other (female) partner is wearing nothing? What if some liquid seeps through? I ask because it seems like there are different bits of information on this bored that mention 2 pieces of clothing, each partner...

Is this an okay question? I know there are other articles on your site about these things I just wonder why there's such a wide variety of information from so many people. Are they misinformed or is it just specific to the individual and the situation?

Sperm and egg life span
I have read sperm can live on out of body surfaces for 20-60 minutes. Is this true? Most places here say 20 only, 30 at most, so are there any conditions in which it can live (and be viable) for 60 minutes or even more, just sitting out in the open? I have a similar question about the female egg. Mo...

Weird question about bodily fluids
Assuming you have a smallish glob of seamen on one hand and and cervical fluid on the other hand and no interference to either, which would dry first? How do they different in characteristics? Is it easy to tell them apart on sight somehow. I told you it was weird...but I got I'm a debate with a fri...

That's what I was thinking too. And since I've had the virus for years (mostly dormant), I was thinking/hoping autoinnoculation at this point would be improbable. Sound reasonable?

Re: Cold sores
Just a few flecks of color, not "covered" per se. It's not flakey, as in I can't scrape it off. It looks like a part of the pattern on the fabric if I didn't know any better. My washer just broke and I'm out of underwear so I was really hoping I wouldn't have to rewash it until next week w...

Cold sores
Dumb question but as I was unloading my underwear from the clothes dryer, I found the chapstick I had been using during a cold sore outbreak had been somehow dried with them. It must have been in my pocket from a previous wash. Is it still safe to wear the underwear or am I at risk for spreading the...
