Ella vs progestin-only pills?
I made some research on it and ella is claimed to be more effective than other EC pills. How is it so? Does it contain a higher dose? If so, does that mean that it is much worse for your health? I always take Ella whenever there is a failure with the birth control method that we're using, so I reall...

Re: Condom broke took Plan B
As I was thinking about what happened, I freaked myself out again with something. As I said before, the condom broke. When we checked the tip of the condom was ripped off and the other parts seem to be in contact (the tip of the condom was also in contact with the head so we guessed there was no pie...

Re: Condom broke took Plan B
Lubricant it is then :? I have one more question since I couldn't find the related article: would taking the EC pills 2 times in 2 months have a serious side effect such as infertility? I know it sounds quite stupid to ask that but since a single EC pill has a massive amount of dose in it, it freaks...

Re: Condom broke took Plan B
We did leave some room at the tip and the condoms were perfectly stored, I am certain about these two. Yet, we did not use any lubricant however down there was not dry at all also. Do we need to use lubricant all the time even though there is no vaginal dryness?

Condom broke took Plan B
Hi, I am feeling so unlucky these days since we encountered another condom failure 2 months ago (I got my period afterwards). This time the condom broke, he did not ejaculate, yet there might be some precum therefore I took Plan B in 15 minutes. This happened approximately around my ovulation period...

Re: Condom slipped off-took Plan B
Okay then, now I am assuming that it is unlikely for me to get pregnant from this and I need to stop freaking out and wait for my period to come. Do I need a prescription in order to get on the birth control pills?

Re: Condom slipped off-took Plan B
Yes, that would be so helpful. The risk of getting pregnant from this is quite small right? My bf also told me that there should not be any sperm in his precum since it's been so long since the last time he had sex/masturbated and he urinated before the intercourse. Does this pose a big risk or do y...

Re: Condom slipped off-took Plan B
I read the articles now, "it is best to assume that you could have ovulated around the time of unprotected contact and thus you can test either 14 or more days after your risk or when your period is late/missed." do I still have to wait 14 days after the risk even though my period is 6 day...

Re: Condom slipped off-took Plan B
Thank you, Sam, for your answer. I was also wondering what is the reason why it is generally recommended to take the test a few days after you miss a period? What if i had unprotected sex a day before my expected period and then i was late for a few days, in this case could it still be possible for ...

Condom slipped off-took Plan B
Hi, As it is stated in the topic, during the intercourse (we always use condoms as our birth control method) the condom slipped off at some point (he did not ejaculate and he says he was not even anywhere close to ejeculating at that point) and we realized it after 30 seconds. As soon as I noticed, ...
