What are/were your relationship models?

When you're imagining the best-case scenario for how a relationship ( with romantic partners, friends, etc) will go, who do you look to as your model? Are they real people? Fictional characters? Something else? How has the way you imagined your ideal relationships changed as you've aged? I'll go fir...

Re: My last period was at the end of April

Hi kyndy,

Periods can be late, and cycles can vary, for all sorts of reasons. You can read about those here: M.I.A or, Dude, Where's My Period?

However, if you've missed more than two periods, it's sound to check in with a healthcare provider to see what the cause might be.

Re: Sexuality and Experience

Hi Iusedtobe, First off, I don't think you will have been lying to the people you've come out to if you choose to do this. When you came out, you were defining your identity by all the information you had up to that point (e.g you primarily like women). Even if your feelings were to change, that doe...

Re: how can I talk to my mom about a pregnancy scare?

Hi Laura, So, it sounds like you've had a lot of outside confirmation that you're not pregnant, so the trouble for you now is convincing the anxious part of your brain to believe what you already know. Re: The Body Positivity Thread!

I'm really like my legs/butt. They've always been strong (dance training followed by having to bike everywhere in college), but lately I've been skating/doing squats and it's made me like them even more. I like the way they look, and I like feeling as though I have a strong foundation.

Re: how to talk to people/make friends?

In some ways, the smaller school might be helpful, if only because it might be harder to feel like you're lost in a sea of anonymity. Depending on where the school is located, you may also want to check out meet-ups or clubs that happen in the community, so you aren't limited to the student populati...

Re: how to talk to people/make friends?

Hi Xmetalgirl, Making/keeping friends can be tough, especially if you're someone who tends to be withdrawn or gets read as "weird" by other folks. But you're right that a new school is a great place to try out some new approaches. There are a few strategies you can try (if they aren't thin...
