Difficult challenges in coming out

We've visited this forum to talk about our difficult challenges in coming out to our family and friends even to our partners. And our Admins here being as helpful as ever, they have provided us a lot of ideas to overcome it. But I'm curious that in your own words and actions, how did you actually ov...

Re: I don't really get crushes anymore?

Hi, boosterseat. Thank you for your feedback. Also, another thing that runs in my mind is that could we both be A or Demi? After all, we seem to develop strong bonds with other individuals we grow very close to. That is the defining trait between A and Demi. But then again, could it be that we are A...

Re: I don't really get crushes anymore?

I seemingly float in and out of asexuality, demisexuality, and heterosexuality while permanently remaining demiromantic. While I don't experience love as an emotion or develop crushes, I find my sexuality to change from nil to one where I only desire lustful actions with those closest to me and fina...

Re: Platonic Intimacy: What does that look like for you?

I've had a number of platonic relationships where I haven't even considered hitting on them. They're real things, though it can be hard to tell the difference between them and liking someone at times. I was in a relationship with someone for about 8 months before we realized that we were just close ...

Re: What's your favorite outfit?

Summer is near so yeah, there are a lot of cute-looking outfits advertised as ideal summer outfits, but if you don’t have the figure, budget, or cooperation of your body/the weather to wear, it won’t matter. My favorite outfit this coming summer will be a lot of maxi skirts as dresses (I don’t care ...

Have you tried seeing a female gyno? I find they are more sympathetic and willing to try to figure out what is going on. There are so many different possibilities on what could be going on.

Thanks, mirchi! How hot is there right now? Adding lemon to your cold water is the best you can have to rehydrate yourself. Enjoy the season! :)

Spring Season

Spring arrived a good few weeks ago here and I don’t think it has rained since it was so hot yesterday (24 degrees – woohoo) that I had to stop work and take myself to a local plunge pool to have a paddle. How about you? What have you been looking forward to doing this Spring season? :)

I really love being in a dress. I am the type of girl who's a little bit feminine and who loves pretty dresses. :) Dress is considered sort of my uniform already.

Hi SpicyLemon, I hope you get in touch with that group successfully. We're on the same boat and I'm hoping to be more open to everyone I cherish, I wish I would have the same strength that you have though, on facing this issue that we all have here.

Unsure of coming out

I have always known that I was lesbian, especially from a very young age. When I was growing up in the very late '90s and early 2000's I often heard people say derogatory things about LGBTQ+ people, however, for the last 15 years I have pretty much been housebound due to my autism and anxiety disord...

Re: Do you have a gift for yourself this Christmas?

FWIW, I always recommend adopting from a shelter. there are so many dogs in need already and so many poor pups on the streets that we don't really need to bring more into this world. Additionally, pure bred dogs can tend to have inborn health problems as side effects. If you don't adopt though, do ...

I've always wondered too if withdrawal method is enough for having safe sex. Isn't just doing intercourse while you're both in the middle of it will have a chance to make the girl pregnant?

Re: Loneliness bites.

Surround yourself with great friends that will accompany you through bad and good times. We don't really need many friends, we just need a few who's always there to listen. Reach out to those few you have, they'll surely give you comfort when you most need it.

Do you have a gift for yourself this Christmas?

Hi, How is everyone? I hope you guys are doing well this Christmas. It's almost here and yet, some of us are still coping up trying to survive this pandemic by doing something productive every day. Tbh, I've been feeling anxious these past weeks and I want to reward myself for surviving this pandemi...

After Britain, Canada now accepts Pfizer vaccine. Hopefully, if things go well with this vaccine, more countries will follow suit.

I'm glad that you're doing well during this pandemic. Some were unable to keep their wits intact so we are still in a better place than them. I find reading some helpful articles as my new hobby, so I appreciate you for sharing that. I'm sure it helped you too to manage your emotional well-being. :)
