Safe?
Hi, so I posted last month about losing a combination birth control pill and then borrowing one from another pack to make up for it. Unfortunately my pharmacy did not offer extra refills so I ended up just missing one pill this cycle. I just finished the third week of my pack and the pill I missed w...

BC pill questions
Hi, so I've been on the pill for several months now and have dealt with some odd side effects like irregular or even skipped periods. I have a few questions: 1. I'm at a pretty low dosage of hormones, would the irregularity be more likely to go away if I got put on a higher dose? 2. My mom recently ...

Yeah I did talk to him so I think we will be able to avoid that mistake in the future. I'm on Larin 1/20, the pills are all the same color. I may have an extra pack...

Re: Lost a pill
Thank you very much. I'm a little confused though, where from the next pack would I borrow the pill? Wouldn't that leave me with a missed pill in the next month? And yes, I think the issue was that he forgot to hold the base before he withdrew

Lost a pill
Hi I lost a pill two days ago near the end of the pack when it fell down the sink. I'm on the 21 day combination pill. I followed online instructions and just took the last pill in the pack (active pill, same week). I took the last remaining pill last night. My question is, would it be better to sta...

Birth control + Antibiotics?
Hi, I have been on Larin birth control pill for about 4 months now and just yesterday started taking clindamyclin antibiotics (300 mg) for a strep infection. I read that there are no drug interactions between the two but can any antibiotics really decease the effects of birth control? I wasn't able ...

Re: Normal withdrawal bleed?
Hi, sorry one last thing. I'm pretty confident now that this was a normal withdrawal bleed but I have a doctor's appt tomorrow morning and I'm really anxious about it. Do you have any tips on how to deal? I have a history of anxiety and my parents can't know I'm sexually active so that's probably wh...

Normal withdrawal bleed?
Hi, I started taking the pill two months ago. I'm on my placebo week and on the 4th day, I got what I assumed was my period. However, it was very light and it stopped after a few hours. I have previously had spotting and discharge throughout my first cycle, but I can't remember what my first period ...
