Re: Something came out of my vagina
Every other time anything of significant size has come out like this it's always been while on my period and been much thinner and less jelly like in its consistency, just my uteruine lining sluffing off, but this seems very different

Something came out of my vagina
A weird thing happened to me when I was taking a bath, I sneezed and this thing came out. I took it out of the water and it was like an inch long, maybe a cm wide at its widest. It was essentially colourless and had no odor. It didn't break apart if I pushed on it. I haven't been sexually active in ...

Stuck tampon?
Hey, I know you can't technically lose a tampon, but I'm wondering if maybe I have one stuck up there that I've forgotten about. I don't remember taking that one out before putting in another in the morning. When I insert a finger I feel no string or anything, I do feel what could either be my cervi...

What's it supposed to feel like?
Hi there! I have a question about what it's supposed to feel like inside of my vagina. When I put a finger in, at about the length of my middle finger in, I feel a hard (not super hard) half sphere shaped end, I can feel a little bit up the edges, it feels like tissue. This freaked me out when I fir...

Re: I took a pill out of order.
Update: I was told by my gynecologist to take the pill I was supposed to take that day the next day and continue with the rest of the pill pack normally. She disagreed with what I was told by a Planned Parenthood volunteer, and I did what she said.

Re: Brown Discharge Starting Birth Control
Okay thank you!! I really appreciate it. I took a bath and I noticed flakes which seemed to be my uterine lining shedding. I notice this with all my periods. Is it possible that this be the only bleed I'm going to get this cycle? Secondly, I made a post about a week ago about taking a pill out of or...

Brown Discharge Starting Birth Control
Hi there! I started the birth control pill this month and am taking my last active pill tomorrow, expecting a withdrawal bleed after that (in just a couple days). For the last few days I have been experiencing brown discharge. It began thickening and darkening yesterday and today. Is this something ...

Re: I took a pill out of order.
Update: I was told by Planned Parenthood's chat service to take the correct pill I was supposed to take today in addition to the pill I've taken today which was supposed to be for tomorrow. I would then continue the rest of the pill pack normally, but finishing a day early.

I took a pill out of order.
Hi there! This morning I made a mistake while taking my combination pill. I was supposed to take the last pill of the second week, but took the pill of the first day of the third week (tomorrow's pill). The leaflet that came with my pill pack had no instructions for pills taken out of order. My ques...
Re: Spotting
Thank you!! My period ended up arriving a few days early.
Re: Spotting
Is it possible to have implantation bleed a month after last having sex, having had a period since?
Spotting
What are some reasons for spotting a week before my period is due? My boyfriend and I have always used both condoms and pullout method so I don't believe pregnancy is a real risk.

How easy is it really to get pregnant
My teachers in health class always made it sound as though if you had sex once you'd get pregnant. Although I know that this is technically possible, from what I understand it is also highly unlikely. On other forums I've read those trying to conceive often complain about it being difficult and taki...

Re: Vagina after my first time
Update! Everything went back to normal after about 4 days total. Took your advice and got lube, which made the world of a difference and haven't had that problem again. Thanks so much!!

Vagina after my first time
I had sex for the first time 2 days ago. The first time was great and more or less painless. Felt fine the next day. Had sex later that day (yesterday), things were much more dry than the first time and hurt more. Today I am feeling a little bit sore, tender, dry and possibly swollen down there. I n...

Re: Can I rely wholly on condoms?
Okay thank you so so much that really answered my question :) And also, I hear those terms alot, but I've never had them explained to me. Does perfect use in a year just mean that a condom is used everytime you have sex as well as used properly within a year, where typical use would mean that condom...

Can I rely wholly on condoms?
My boyfriend and I are thinking about having sex for the first time. We want to be safe, but I do not want to get on any kind of hormonal birth control right now. Is it risky to rely completely on a condom to prevent pregnancy during sex? I can't seem to get a straight answer if it's crazy to not ha...

"Are you sexually active?"
Hi there! So within the past few months my boyfriend and I have started to get physical in our relationship (having manual/oral sex). Soon I'll be visiting with my general doctor and each time I go they ask if I'm sexually active/doing drugs or alcohol, they always ask my mom to leave before asking ...

Re: Communication advice for my relationship
Right. I really appreciate your advice! I think I have a better idea of how I can effectively approach the situation now. I need to find that balance between being calm (the hardest part for me), positive and loving with my words but strong (so that my views are very clear and clearly not changing)....

Communication advice for my relationship
Hi there! My boyfriend and I are in a very happy and healthy relationship of nearly a year. Trust and open communication has never been something that we have struggled with. As we agree to be open and honest with one another, my boyfriend felt it was necessary to approach me with something that was...
