It can be so frustrating to feel like a parent isn't hearing us, or isn't offering sympathy or support when that's what we're aiming for!
Can you tell me a little more about your relationship with your mom? Is it otherwise positive and this is just a frustrating dynamic that's in the mix? Or is this part of a bigger pattern where you feel like your mom doesn't hear you or notice what you're actually doing?
