Asking about menstrual bleeding
Hello, good afternoon. I have few questions about menstrual blood flow.
Is it normal to have heavy flow blood until it touch the underwear on her first day? For context i dont know if it affects the period, but she was abroad for 4 months and she loss weights. 3 weeks ago, she went back to her home country and starting to eat more than before (outside of the country) i think she gained more weight now.
Sorry for the bad english, have a good day

Re: Asking about menstrual bleeding
Hi there, Josteph! Don't worry about your language, it is good. I can understand you, and if we don't understand, we'll just ask for clarification.
Stress, and weight/dietary changes can impact someone's periods, but having heavier flow/some leakage isn't that unusual, and most probably isn't something to be worried about. The body isn't a machine, so some variability is to be expected.
If I may ask, have you talked to this person about your concerns? She must know her body best — was she worried about this change?

Makes sense! As Veda stated, though, heavier blood flow shouldn't be a concern on its own. It's normal for there to be variation due to different factors.
