How to wipe (number 2) when on period??
I’ve had my period for some time now, but I always struggle with wiping after doing a poo because of the blood! It just makes me icky as it’s like smearing the blood around rather than wiping. Also my old blood is brown aswell so it’s hard to differentiate for when I’ve finished wiping. Soo yeah what am I supposed to do when wiping on period??

Hi saltykale,
When it comes to wiping yourself after using the bathroom, I think it can be helpful to do the wiping separately; using several folded sheets of toilet paper, you can wipe your vulva first, discard it, and then do the same with your anus. If you have a bidet spray (though this can also be done in the shower), you can also use it to rinse away the blood and feces first before wiping everything dry with a toilet paper or a towel. Remember to wipe from front to back in one way to prevent contamination. Does that make sense?
