Multiple questions and concerns

Unread post by Lúthien »

Well, one of my many concerns is that my labia get irritated really easily, like if Im fingered to long (wich isnt really even that long) or just randomly. They are completly covered by the outer part and I was wondering if this is normal or what. My skin is pretty sensative so is down there just the same? Would lube help make it more comfortable for me? One side is also longer then the other , from what ive read on here thats normal and no guy has ever complained or said it was odd (only 3 guys would know but still). I just want to be a little more confident because my current boyfriend is so accepting of everything about me.

Another concern is about my period, I think I have mentioned it to my docter buy she didnt seem overly concerned. I have extreme hypoglycemia so my blood sugar is low a lot and the last three times I have gotten my period I have felt so sick and without midol I couldnt even manage to walk for long. Ive had bad cramps before but these feel different... painful enough to bring tears to my eyes and they almost burn instead of the way it normally felt. Plus my blood sugar goes into the 20s and I cant get it up.

Hi Luthien,

In terms of the irritation, if you're already sensitive down there it's likely the same. Lube is definitely something to try (since it will help combat dryness, which might be contributing to the irritation).

When you mentioned that bad period symptoms and the way it interacts with your hypoglycemia to the doctor, did she have any suggestions as to how to manage it?

All my docter said was to eat more, I already eat a lot and eating till Im sick wont solve my problems, usually its only one day I really have a big problem with it. Ive been to a specialist also and Im supposed to get an apointment with a different one but nobody seems to know why my blood sugar does what it does or how to help it.

That sounds like a lot to deal with. It's sound to keep pursuing the appointment with the specialist, so that you can hopefully get some answers. In case you need it, here's an article on how to deal with the bad cramps (as we can't really help with the blood sugar piece of it)

Thank you! I think I will deffinitly look into seeing if I can find a tea or something that would help. I've actually been meaning to look into birth control to see if it would help to except I've heard it can make you gain weight and I wrestle so I would prefer to stay in my weight class.
