sex related doubt

I just wanted to know that if i have sex during my unsafe period but with a condom on.. will it be a problem? In any way? I read somewhere that condom failure rates are higher during the unsafe period help

Hi dk030993,

No, condoms are not more likely to fail during one part of your cycle than another. The best thing you can do if planning to use a condom is to know all the steps for using it correctly (as that will make it breaking as unlikely as possible). Sorry to bother you guys again
im just paranoid again
me and my boyfriend had sex with condom on but we used saliva as a lubricant but we made sure he didnt ejaculate inside and i checked later on to see if it had broken and it was intact
the thing is i read somewhere that using saliva as lubricant can break condoms
can i be at a risk?

Hello there, dk.

While saliva is not the best lubricant for condoms, or sex, it won't make a condom break. What makes a condom break, actually, is friction with lack of lubrication. That said, if the condom didn't slip or break, you can trust it did its job successfully. :)
