Bleeding concern

Unread post by Josteph »

Hi, sorry for coming here again after asking question.
I'll just go directly to the case.

On 27 June yesterday, my gf got a like a very small bleeding (at first we thought its her period because based on the tracker (flo) its on 30 june which is close) but somehow when i asked her again today about her period, she said its only very small bleeding and there is no period on 28 and 29 (today). Since there is no pregnancy risk because all i did is fingering her 2 weeks ago (15/16 June) and last week (22 June) but i also dont want to trust any source other than scarleteen. (we did not have sex at all, no direct contact between 2 genitals)

Could you know what is currently happening to her? and i dont want to assume that bleeding is implantation something

Hi Josteph, no need to apologize, this is what we're here for and we're happy to help. I'm glad you trust us :)

As you stated, there's no pregnancy risk if there was no contact between your genitals and all that happened was fingering, so no worries about it being implantation bleeding.

It's normal to have very light bleeding, also known as spotting, right before a period. I don't suggest relying on a period tracker app for an exact day she'll get her period, as our bodies are not machines and there are hormonal changes happening often that can change our cycle - this is normal. So maybe this is the beginning of her period and it came early, or maybe it's just some spotting and her period will be here in the next few days (if it doesn't start on the 30th exactly, don't get concerned right away).

If she isn't experiencing any other symptoms that are out of the ordinary for her, such as pain, then there shouldn't be a reason to worry about light bleeding especially so close to her predicted period start. Does that help ease your mind a bit?

Yes, thankyou for your information. I'll keep that in mind that it is normal to have something like that near her predicted period.

Hey Josteph,

I would assume that it is her period! I hope this helps. Does hearing all that help ease some of these concerns?
