Cant fit smaller toy anally
Hi, im currently having an issue with a toy i bought recently:
Its a prostate massager/vibrator and its supposed to be relatively small, a lot smaller than other dildos i've taken but i cant seem to fit it in entirely. Whenever i try to insert it fully i get a sharp pain which goes up almost until my abdomen and no matter how long i try to gently push it inside or try to forcefully push it in or just relax and/or try again later i cant seem to fit it in fully and the pain is only there when i try to push it in. If i let go the pain stops. The problem is that i have a dildo which is a lot longer and bigger in terms of girth and i seem to be able to fit that just fine but when i try this new toy it doesnt want to fit fully.
Is there something wrong with the toy or is it just a me problem?

Re: Cant fit smaller toy anally
Hey there Astra, welcome to the boards! I’m glad you’ve found us here.
When you’re inserting anything inside of yourself and you feel pain, it’s important to stop, not push through that pain. Particularly with anal entry, pushing through pain can cause injury.
A lot of toys can be marketed as “small” or “beginner,” but it’s really all relative because everybody is unique. So, what might be small enough to start with for one person might be too big or cause injury in another person. When you find that an anal toy is painful or too big, it’s always okay to go down a size or a few, or try softer materials and smoother shapes. Something that can also help is starting with a finger before working up to a toy, so you’re familiar with what size feels best for you. How does that sound?
As you’re exploring anal toys, I also want to send you this guide we have on our site. It’s all about how to use anal toys, including safety tips! You can find that article here: https://www.scarleteen.com/read/sex-sex ... butt-plugs
I hope this helps!! Do let me know if you have any more questions.
