Condom Leak?

Hello!

My boyfriend had an earlier ejaculation (manual stimulation) and put on a condom after a few minutes of wiping the semen off him. He was still half-erect when he did this. After that he tried going in but couldn't because he has gotten soft.

Is there any risk of fluid leaking through a condom when the penis flaccid, but the condom didn't slip off and stayed on the whole time?

We can't know for sure if there was any leaking. Did you notice any fluids outside of the condom?

Using a condom when the penis is flaccid can increase the chances of it slipping off. Which you said did not happen. Also, unless there was some type of tear, fluid would not leak "through" the condom. If a condom is too big then fluid could leak at the base.

Thanks for taking the time to help me out here. I really appreciate it.

I didn't notice any fluid leaking out of the base but I'm concerned that's because it's precum (since that stuff is clear, right? Not white-ish), and since he's had an earlier ejaculation there will be semen in there.

Aside from that, wouldn't a too big condom slip off? And since ours didn't, is it relatively safe to say that it did fit so there can be no leaking from the base? I read somewhere in the archives that as long as the condom stayed in place and there are no tears, then it did its job. And that the real danger of having a condom placed in a flaccid penis is that it may slip off and that would cause the leakage?

Thank you for being patient. You are correct. If the condom remained in place and there were no tears then it did it's job.
