Basically angry people make me nervous help

Sometimes, when something negative happens, my boyfriend gets angry.
He isn't mad at me, and he reassures me that he isn't, but it still makes me nervous. I'm a trans guy who just started T, and my boyfriend is cisgender.
It makes sense that he may get upset with the situation at hand, but he punches his wall, bed, or trashcan to take it out.
We'll be in the same situation and while I process it and get mildly annoyed or sad, he'll get angry. Like he spilled a drink and while I offered to clean it up, he got super angry and couldn't calm down.
I want him to be able to talk about how he's feeling and stuff, and I know he would never hurt me, but whenever people get mad or raise their voice I get really anxious.
What should I do?
