If you've used chat for a question and are now using the boards, or have been working with us at the boards and have decided to also use text, as examples, please let us know.
Since users who use more than one service often use different usernames, we often can't know you are unless something starts to sound familiar, and then we do some checks, or you tell us.
It makes it harder for us to do our job with you well when we don't know and you don't fill us in about using more than one service. It also often results in us spending our time having redundant conversations, which is a waste of both our time and yours. When we can check your whole history, any of us working with you can know all we can know about you and what we've discussed so far, which makes it way more likely we can best help you and all of our conversations can be as productive as possible.
Suffice it to say, pretending you are only using one service when you are using more than one is a big no-no here, something that conflicts with our user guidelines about fraud. So, if we discover you have been using more than one service, ask you about it, and you don't tell us the truth, that may result in a suspension of all our services for you.
Thanks!
Scarleteen is closed for the next two days, so that's Thursday, October 31st (for Halloween) and Friday, November 1st (for Diwali). We'll be back and able to answer your questions on Saturday. Catch you soon!

Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has. - Margaret Mead
