Hi, I’m on the Nexplanon implant, which has recently been making me bleed pretty much constantly! Presumably it’s okay to have sex whilst on my period and this won’t effect my contraception? Thanks

Hi Holly55! I'm sorry to hear about the constant bleeding! Is this new, and are you able to talk to your doctor about it? Yes, as long as you have had the Nexplanon for more than a week, it is effective and you can have sex on your period.
