Nauseous feeling when aroused?

Heya there the name's Sour, I'm 16 and AFAB, and I gotta confess that whenever I'm aroused I get a bit nauseous and I wanna know whether or not that's normal or if I have a strange disease
Basically for as long as I could feel arousal, I'd get a warm feeling in my heart (like literally as in the organ) and I'd feel a bit nauseous too and it gets more intense the hornier I am and I'd have to take short breaks whilst reading some nice pornographic comics so I don't end up accidentally vomiting or something (It hasn't happened but just to be safe). I wanna know if this is normal since it would be a concern if I got a boyfriend since it would be kinda odd to ask him to get off me so I could simmer down and then continue the action.

Hi Sour,

It may help to know that you're not the only person out there who experiences this, though from researching your question it looks like the cause of these experiences isn't super well-understood. Are you someone who experiences a lot of anxiety in general? And have you noticed that you get similar feelings at other times in your life, like when something makes you really excited?

So regarding whether or not I have anxiety, No I don't really get anxious anymore. I used to get really anxious when I was younger (Like I once forgot to bring something to a sleepover and I was scared my mom was gonna yell at me when I texted her to bring it over) but I never ended up feeling nausea due to it, Nor do I get similar feelings at other times in my life (except for when I would throw up but I don't think that really counts)

Got it, thanks for those details! One thing that could be at play here is that you're reacting to the increase in sex hormones that comes with arousal. We're not endocrinologists, so we can't speak too much to that option, but it's possible there's an underlying hormonal imbalance that becomes more noticeable when you're aroused. Would you be comfortable telling a healthcare provider what's going on?

Hey! Not sure you'll ever get this, but this is happening to me too (almost exactly like you described lol). I wanted to ask if you ended up learning more about this? I'm honestly struggling a little with it myself.

Hi there, h3athen- welcome to the boards!

Hopefully, Sour will see this and tell us if they've learnt more about this. I'm afraid I'm at a loss as well, though I will ask the other volunteers/staff if they know anything.

For the time being, I think seeing a doctor as Sam suggested may be a good idea- they may be able to shine some light on what is happening.
