New Bleeding with my IUD
I have the Liletta IUD and I've had it for almost 2 years. Just recently I got my cycle back, and I've had about three periods. This time however, my period won't stop. It's been 2 weeks long. It's very light spotting but I don't know why it won't stop. Is this cause for concern?

Re: New Bleeding with my IUD
Hi Meggyd18,
Irregular or very frequent spotting or bleeding is a potential side effect of the IUD, so it's possible that's what's happening here. However, if it's really stressing you out, I would call your healthcare provider and talk with them about it, just to get a sense of whether there could be something else going on.
