Masturbation question???
Hi, so I have been masturbating for around a year now, and everything has been fine so far. I have only ever used my clitoris for masturbation as it’s the only thing that works for me. It took me awhile to get the hang of it but when I do masturbate and have an orgasm I never ejaculate or even squirt. I do get wet but that’s all that happens. Is this normal, or are there other ways to masturbate that make you ejaculate???

Hi Doodler145 and welcome to the Scarleteen Boards!
Everything you described is perfectly normal. Ejaculation (also called squirting) is not something that people with vulvas tend to have a lot of control over. Sometimes it happens and sometimes it doesn't. We have an article that goes into more depth (Squirt: On Ejaculation) but, in short, ejaculation is linked to g-spot stimulation and internal and external clitoris stimulation currently---but there is still more research that is needed. Some people find relaxing and bearing down when close to orgasm can lead to ejaculation, but, as I said before some people also never experience squirting or control over it. If you are curious about exploring it more take a look at that article and we can help clarify further questions it brings up for you.
