Are there any bad things about masterbating

Hi. I was wondering if there were any bad side effects from mastebating. I know there are lots that are good but it is hard to find out if there are any bad ones thanks (I'm a boy)

There are no bad side effects of masturbation itself. Problems can happen - if someone is spending so much time masturbating that they don't have time for study or work; or if their beliefs (about religion, about masturbating while in a relationship, or something like that) make them feel bad afterwards; etc. - but they're not directly about masturbation, and especially the first one can happen with pretty much any activity. :)
