Implantation bleeding question

Unread post by chalk »

Can it happen only once in one pregnancy? Only in the first month? Or it can happen multiple times?
(Not implying that I've experienced it or something, I just wanted to get informed!)

Implantation bleeding is typically just bleeding that occurs 10-14 days after conception; it's the result of the sperm attaching itself to the uterine lining.

Hi Chalk,

Implantation bleeding technically occurs only once. You can read about it some more here:

Human Reproduction: A Seafarer's Guide

Demigoddess, thank you for weighing in, but just a reminder that this area where staff/volunteers are the only ones meant to answer the questions.
And you to whom adversity has dealt the final blow/with smiling bastards lying to you everywhere you go/turn to and put out all your strength of arm and heart and brain/and like the Mary Ellen Carter rise again.
