are disposable vinyl gloves safe to put inside of me as a condom alternative?

Unread post by SillyMcGoof_ »

hi! i asked this question on my previous post but i felt like making a separate thread for it (i recommend looking at that previous thread for more context for this post)

basically in short i dont have access to condoms or lube for masturbation purposes (atleast not by means that wont cause me a significant amount of stress), and i want to find alternatives. im wondering if the gloves i currently have are safe for my body and to put inside the vagina and/or anus, and what lube alternatives i can use with them if so.

for more info on the gloves as i cannot attach images:

- like i mentioned before they’re vinyl disposable gloves. they’re from the brand wostar i think? or maybe woscar? at least i think thats the brand name

- there are some product features listed on the back, those being:
• non-medical
• powder free, allergy free
• durable and easy to wear
• excellent puncture and abrasion resistance
• excellent oil resistance

- it says they’re latex free

so, given all that information, would these gloves be body safe? if not, is there any alternatives i can use, and/or what can i do now? and if so, what at home lube alternatives would be body safe and safe to use with the gloves?

hopefully this all makes sense. thanks in advance!!

Can you look on the box and find what material it says they are made from? Maybe also look them up online so you can give us a link to show us? It's sounding like these might be the kinds of gloves used for food service. If so, no, there aren't for using inside the body.

The kind that are are most often called surgical gloves, and will be latex or nitrile.

If it helps to know, we absolutely err on the side of caution here. So if or when we know or even think something possibly isn't safe, or carries some risks you might not easily assume, we'll usually say something about it. <3

But good on you for being cautious and caring for your body!

ok thanks for letting me know!! and thanks for all the help!

i’ll try using the gloves with some diy toys next time i masturbate to see how it goes and feels. i have sensory issues so hopefully it goes ok and doesn’t feel ick.

one last question tho, is there anything i can use to keep the glove on the object so then i wont have to hold it in place or worry about it falling off?

This is really one of those instances where there's just really not anything else we can do to help.

I don't know anything about your family/home situation, but this is something where you could potentially ask a parent/guardian or sibling to purchase something for you. As well, plant-based oils are available in grocery stores and won't usually cost you more than $10, so are also easy to purchase.
