Sexual issues on Zoloft
Sexual issues on Zoloft
Erm so kind of awkward but since I’ve been on Zoloft I’ve been struggling to… get past the finished line… sexually speaking. This has never been an issue for me and I’ve only been on the medication a couple weeks. It’s done wonders for my anxiety , but the sexual issues are a bit of a concern… is this likely to improve ? Thanks!

Re: Sexual issues on Zoloft
Hi 55,
With any new medication, the body does need to take time to adjust. I know that this is a concern for you and I'm wondering if this is just your body adjusting to the medication. Does it feel okay to wait another couple weeks and see if things have improved? Otherwise I would recommend talking to your doctor about your concerns.

Re: Sexual issues on Zoloft
Yes I think that’s probably a good idea. I hear it can be a common issue.

Re: Sexual issues on Zoloft
Just to add this was one of the primary reasons I switched from Zoloft to a different SSRI which, at least in my case, solved the issue.
