I don't know how to feel pleasure while mastrubating

Unread post by eliziaenlope »

Hey, i'm a female (16) and i recently started experimenting with mastrubation. When i got horny i used to just watch porn. Now i wanted to try and finger myself. I just inserted 1 finger in and out a bit but i didn't feel anything. It didn't hurt but it didn't feel good as wel. I want to be able to feel good and have an orgasm by myself. I just don't know how. I also don't know how to stimulate my clitoris, i tried but didn't feel much.

Hi there, Eliziaenlope- welcome to the boards!

Ah, people come here fairly often with this kind of problem. While I can't give you a specific set of instructions that will make masturbation feel pleasurable (because different things work for different people), let me assure you that with some patience and trial and error, this will almost certainly work itself out.

Could you give us a sense of what your mental state is like when you try to masturbate- are you usually turned on? Do you feel distracted or attentive?

I ask because, for many people, touching themselves when they're not already aroused doesn't feel like very much. Also, it isn't unusual for fingering to not feel that interesting, especially when it isn't combined with other kinds of stimulation.
