After masturbating

Unread post by Salafbiz »

I noticed that Immediately I ejaculated, my penic will derectile (opposite of erection maybe, can't think of a better word).
Is that how it was supposed to be, can't one ejaculates more than once at the same time?
I hope this is not a problem.
Also, is it true that once I'm addicted to porn, I can't stop it even after getting married?

Hi Salafbiz,

Losing an erection after ejaculation is a standard part of the sexual response cycle. While you can ejaculate more than once in an instance of sex or masturbation, there will still be a period where erection goes away and the sexual response cycle starts over again. You can read about all that in detail here: Sexual Response & Orgasm: A Users Guide

As far as porn usage goes, as was pointed out in a previous thread, "addiction" isn't a very useful or accurate way to talk about sexual media. We can talk about compulsive usage, when someone is consuming sexual media even when they don't want to, or where the amount they're using it is getting in the way of other things they need to do. And in the case of something being a compulsive behavior, that's something that can be worked on with a therapist, not something that you're just stuck with forever.

Too, being married, or otherwise having a partner, doesn't necessarily mean we can't or shouldn't use sexual media anymore.
And you to whom adversity has dealt the final blow/with smiling bastards lying to you everywhere you go/turn to and put out all your strength of arm and heart and brain/and like the Mary Ellen Carter rise again.

Thank you,
I have read through the article and it was very educative.
However on issues of arousals, I used to feel aroused around ladies (my penis will erect) sometimes even when we are casually talking.
The only females I don't experience this with are those I'm related with by blood but any other lady I just felt erect and it's really embarrassing.
The erection doesn't have to do with any sex talk or dirty talk, Just casual conversation and the big man under will wake up.
How do I overcome this?

Hi Salafbiz,

I understand how this would be embarrassing, but don't worry, unwanted erections are not an uncommon experience. Erections can happen when you are stressed, nervous, or afraid, while you sleep, or for no discernable reason at all. Having one does not necessarily mean you want to have sex. In the moment, you can try to hide an erection by crossing your legs or by wearing a jacket that covers the area.

If I may ask, how long do these erections last? Does distracting yourself, making an effort to relax, or taking a walk or shower help?
