Eating Spicy Food

Unread post by bluespreadsheet »

I like eating spicy food, but I don't like when it exits my body! I don't get any health problems from it, it's just normal poop, it's just painful poop. Are there any products like creams that you can apply after to make it not hurt faster?

Hi bluespreadsheet,

Just did some quick research on this - Keeping the area clean and dry will help, with some mild soap and warm water. Creams with calamine will soothe the itching and burning. Eating fiber before or after your spicy meal can help too, and drinking plenty of water. Also, milk! Dairy contains a protein that hinders the compound in spicy foods' ability to bind to the nerve receptors in your body.
