I can never finish during sex or masturbation and I feel hopeless

Unread post by depressedlol »

Hi, I’m a 21yr old female, my current partner is my first sexual partner and I have been struggling sexually. I have masturbated since I was around 10yrs old by rubbing my vulva through my panties and that’s all I would do. Through my teen years I would touch my self with my fingers which would arouse me and make me wet but after a short while i get an overwhelming sensation which makes me stop. Now at 21 whenever I have sex or my partner touches me it doesn’t feel as good as when I touch myself even if he does the same thing. I get the same overwhelming sensation which feels almost too sensitive near my clitorus. The big problem is that I have never been able to finish or orgasm and while I touch or am being touched down there no matter the movements etc, it eventually feels too overwhelming and sensitive that I have to stop. I really want to be able to enjoy sex until the end and finish but I don’t know what else I could possibly do. I have read many similar posts and articles on here but I still feel lost and hopeless.

Hi Depressedlol, welcome to the boards!

The way you experience your sexuality can change throughout life — just because you're having difficulties experiencing pleasure now, that doesn't mean it will feel this way forever. There is definitely hope.

You mentioned that you have read some similar posts and articles here — have you tried any of the suggestions in those posts? If we get a sense of what you've tried, we might be able to offer better advice.
