For context, I’ve been dating someone for a long time and we’ve been exploring the idea of sex. I know they prefer it shaved as much as possible. Is there any tips for shaving down there to make it less possible I cut myself?

I kinda already wanted to because I wanted to see if it was for me but she agreed and said she would prefer that way, either way I would have done it. I’d just prefer to know the best way to do so without cutting myself.

So, to avoid any potential larger cuts while shaving, make sure to keep the skin moisturized and wet while shaving, following the direction of hair growth to ensure less irritation. Sometimes it can help to gently stretch the skin with one hand, too — whichever way makes it easiest for you to see what you’re doing. If you’re in doubt, a mirror can help! Lastly, if you’re shaving to the skin, you’ll want to take care of that area, making sure it’s clean and dry afterwards.
