I was wondering if there was a place with information about romantic and sexual relationships with multiple people other then the poly section. There is just not a lot I could find and that’s the type of relationship I’m in.

Hi Marsalis, and welcome to the boards :)

I’d be happy to offer some resources for you! Could you say a little more about what type of information you’re looking for about the type of relationship you’re in? That will help us find the most relevant resources for you.

I’m in a 4 person poly and was wondering if there was some resources specifically focused on stuff like telling others about a poly relationship as well as have different levels of feelings for everyone in the group while still loving all of them. Also possible some resources for safe sex with multiple people.

Hey there Marsalin!

I've got a some resources I can share with you regarding all the things you're wanting to focus on! Firstly, there's this incredible resource which details poly relationship structures and can help with understanding different feelings for people in your relationships: Relationship Structure and Troubleshooting: Navigating Poly Relationships. In there you'll find some very important information about safe practices for poly relationships as well!

As far as safe sex goes here's a comprehensive guide on what helps reduce risk in sexual interactions: Safe, Sound & Sexy: A Safer Sex How-To. When it's all boiled down, when it comes to talking about both poly relationships as well as maintaining safe sex practices, your number one tool will be open and honest communication. It's okay if in the beginning it's a little nerve-wracking or causes some discomfort to bring this up but in the end you'll find that communication is the best way to maintain safe and healthy relationships. If you find yourself feeling stuck on how to talk about sex with partners I would also give this article a read: Be a Blabbermouth! The Whys, Whats and Hows of Talking About Sex With a Partner
Does this all help?
