Taking Birth Control Late

Unread post by MarilynMonster »

Hi! Here I am, asking another question! Haha.

Anyway, because of going out of town a while back and leaving my birth control at home, I stared this month's pack a week late. If I took my pill on time I'd be on my placebo pill this week. Now I feel like this may be a stupid question to answer but, should I keep taking the pill until next week when I start the placebo, or to keep my period in schedule can I stop taking the pill now? I can feel some of my normal period symptoms coming on but I'm not sure what to do here. Thanks!

You just want to take your pill as you normally would, not stop early.
