how much discharge is within the range of normal?
a friend was worried about their amount of discharge since "it was enough to have sex without lube" which was more than a little concerning to me since I'm pretty much always wet as a waterpark and producing enough discharge that if I felt icky about wearing wet or discharge-marked underwear I'd be changing it every hour at the LEAST maybe even more often at certain points in my cycle. like seriously, I put the underwear on, within five minutes theres discharge on it. laundry is a NIGHTMARE.
I had assumed this was within the range of normal, but if it's a novelty to be wet enough to have sex without lube, is it? is there a way I can avoid the amount of laundry?

Hi shoelaces99!
Just to make sure, your discharge is consistent and normal for you, correct? No abnormal colors or consistency? Discharge varies from person-to-person. If it's not disrupting your life then I would say it's not a problem; what you describe doesn't sound like it's abnormal and what is a novelty to one person can be perfectly usual for another! BUT if you are bothered by the amount/volume then I would recommend potentially talking to a doctor! Some things you can do to help with the amount of laundry would be potentially using pantyliners daily and/or switching the fabric of your underwear to something more breathable.
