So basically me and my partner was having some sexual activities the other day. There was no penetration through out the whole time.

But my partner ejaculated near my anus. We don’t know for sure if there was any sperm accidentally landed around my vaginal opening area, because we didn’t pay attention to it. I am wondering if there is was a potential tiny amount of sperm landed or dripped on my vaginal opening area, will i get pregnant? What concerns me the most is I ovulated the day after, because I have been tracking my temperature and discharge, so I am quite sure when was my ovulation day.

To get straight to the point, if there was direct contact with semen to the vulva, there is a risk of pregnancy. Are you currently on any kind of birth control?

If it’s been less than 120 hours since this happened, emergency contraception (EC) can reduce your risks of pregnancy substantially, especially when used within 24 hours. After using EC/Plan B⁠, or if you can’t or don’t, you’ll need to wait things out until you either get a menstrual period⁠ or a pregnancy test⁠ can be taken. Pregnancy tests generally will only be accurate after a period is late (and “late,” typically means a period that still hasn’t come when it’s been around or over five days after the last day it was expected on) or missed OR when it’s been around 2-3 weeks after a risk.
