bleeding?! (not on period)
sooo... please help. I'm for sure not on my period, and i was experimenting with some... stuff. Like, self-play. Anyways, to keep it PG-13, the opening tore and i started bleeding for a few minutes. it wasn't too heavy, and im just curious, is this the hymen and is this normal?

Re: bleeding?! (not on period)
Hi there, crumbles.
When you say your opening tore, are you actually seeing what looks like a tear? To help you figure that out, you would have had pretty heavy bleeding, not just a little bit, and this morning, you would probably have pain when wiping after urinating. If you actually have what seems like a tear of your vaginal opening, that's something you'll want to see a healthcare provider about.
If that's not what happened, what's more likely -- since usually the hymen gradually wears away over many years, rather than "tearing" unless we'r talking about assault or injury -- is that you got an abrasion by virture of say, not using lubricant for whatever you were doing. If this is just an abrasion, it will usually take care of itself so long as you give your body a few days to heal before you masturbate again.
