My question is why do I cramp after I finger myself. I am 25 years old and a virgin. I have never done any sexual exploration until about a month ago. I always stuck to just stimulating my clitoris, but nothing more. So recently about a month I go I started to explore with penetration. I slowly did one finger and gradually went to a second one. There is really no pleasure whatsoever when I do so. All I feel is nothing, but afterwards, I'll get a cramp similar to one like period cramps, though it isn't super bothersome. It's like a mild cramp. Eventually it goes away, but it happens every time. At this point I just don't want to do it anymore.

P.S. I also have quite irregular periods. I am scheduling an appointment as soon as I can.

What this most likely is is just how vasocongestion can feel when it lingers around after masturbation or sex with a partners. When we get aroused at all, blood moves to our genitals at a level it isn't usually there. Orgasm helps move it back when that happens, but when it doesn't (and even sometimes when people do orgasm), it just takes a little time. In the meantime, it can feel kind of crampy, which is why people with testes who feel it in their bodies sometimes call it "blue balls."

It sounds like what you're doing hasn't been exciting for you or felt very good, and most of all, you're saying you don't want to explore this particular kind of sexual activity anymore, so by all means, you don't have to. Sex with yourself or with someone else should be about what you like and what feels good. <3
