My girlfriend and I had a sexual encounter with finger penetration on the way to a car party. The situation arose because while we were at her house and were changing clothes, my girlfriend ,she asked me to masturbate in front of her and I ejaculated.
Approximately 40 minutes passed since I had changed my clothes, I had put on moisturizing cream and I did not wash my hands because there was no water. After those 40 minutes my girlfriend asked me to touch her and put my finger in her, I didn't see any semen on my hand, but I'm still very scared

Hi Gabriel,

What you're describing doesn't really pose any pregnancy risk, if that's what you're worried about. However there could potentially be risk for STI transmission.

This guide outlines what does and does not have a risk of pregnancy, as well as risk of STI transmission, which is something else to consider:
Can I Get Pregnant, or Get or Pass On an STI From That?

The nuance here is how long it had been since you had ejaculated. Sperm don't live long outside the body, so any sperm left in the semen on your hand would've been dead by the time you fingered her. Does that help?

What's the risk period? My hand wasn't wet, in fact I changed my clothes and even walked while we were getting ready, all with my hand exposed without gloves or anything. My fear was that there would be something left between my nails or in the spaces between them.

Like Sofi said, sperm is very fragile. After 40 minutes, it's incredibly unlikely any sperm was alive on your hands, especially after applying a skin product!

It is possible that it was even a little longer, like 50, 60 or 70 minutes. I will check the cameras in the house since they record the time when I started to change my clothes, And finally we left.

Hi Gabriel!

Whether it was forty or seventy minutes, you have nothing to worry about. There is no risk of pregnancy here.

If I may ask, do you feel confident in your ability to explore sex with your partner while managing the risk of pregnancy? If you’d like, we can help you think about the best ways to approach this so you don’t feel so worried in the future.
