Pregnancy with Fingering
Hell Doctor,
I had an intimate experience with my girlfriend and I fingered her deep with possible precum on my hand.
According to her that here next is on the 25 of may. This incident took place on the 2nd of this month.
Doctor, this incident is driving me crazy to the point where I cannot focus on anything in my daily life, and even my sleep pattern
I need an honest answer from you, and I read about this topic- pregnancy from fingering- hundred of articles all over the internet claiming it is theoretically.
But I need an answer regarding my incident. Have you come across a case like this or heard where a woman got pregnant from fingering with semen, let us suppose the worse scenario. !!!

Re: Pregnancy with Fingering
Hi there. We're not doctors here, but that's okay, since most doctors actually get only very minimal training in sex and sexuality.
This isn't how pregnancy happens.
This is: Human Reproduction: A Seafarer's Guide. I'd go ahead and read through that piece, since it sounds like you could use a thorough education on how pregnancy can and can't happen, and all that's needed for a pregnancy to happen (like direct genital-to-genital contact, for example, unless someone is in a fertility clinic using IVF).
It also sounds like you and your partner perhaps need to have a conversation about what you both want and need when it comes to pregnancy prevention. You sound like you might have been doing things where you aren't sure it's what you feel comfortable with or not: that's always important to talk through with partners so that you are *only* doing what you actually feel comfortable doing (and same goes for them!).

I'm going to ask you again to read the piece I linked you to as well as to notice that I already answered this for you in my last answer very clearly when I said that this isn't how pregnancy happens.

Re: Pregnancy with Fingering
Hi Heather,
Despite the acknowledged biological possibility of sperm in pre-ejaculate, why is there a noticeable absence of explicit, quantified risk assessments or comprehensive clinical guidelines from major health organizations and fertility clinics regarding pregnancy resulting from manual digital penetration without direct ejaculation?

Hello there! Heather may be around later, but I hope it’s alright to respond since I’m on shift.
I really couldn’t speak for why other organisations frame pregnancy risk in the way they do, but we’re having an interactive discussion here on the boards, so we can provide advice that is specific to your situation. I think there are three relevant points for evaluating the chance of pregnancy for you and your partner:
We often find that having a thorough understanding of the biology of pregnancy can really make people feel less worried and help them make reproductive health decisions that they are confident about. Were you able to read the article that Heather shared (Human Reproduction: A Seafarer's Guide)? You might also want to read Who's Afraid of Sperm Cells?, which gets further into what makes an ideal environment for sperm, and why they can’t survive well outside of that.

I think there are three relevant points for evaluating the chance of pregnancy for you and your partner:
- For pregnancy to occur, there has to be direct contact between semen and the vagina/vulva.
- Pre-ejaculate only contains sperm cell if a person has not urinated after a recent ejaculation. When sperm is present, it’s significantly less than the amount present in full ejaculate.
- Sperm cells are quite delicate, and need a very specific environment to survive. These cells are more vulnerable when they are not in semen, and being transferred between multiple surfaces (such as from your body → your hand → your partner’s body) is very likely to damage them.

Re: Pregnancy with Fingering
Latha mostly covered this, but the short and simple answer is because this isn't something that presents a risk. There's no reason for those guidelines you are looking for because, as I have explained, both in my responses here and in the piece I linked you to, this is not a way that pregnancy happens.why is there a noticeable absence of explicit, quantified risk assessments or comprehensive clinical guidelines from major health organizations and fertility clinics regarding pregnancy resulting from manual digital penetration without direct ejaculation?
I'm going to close this thread now, because we've answered this as many ways as we possibly can and you also don't appear to be looking at the resources we give you when we do answer you.
