I think it said on the gov website that you can take any amount of a medication and you aren't required to show a prescription but I've also read that you should carry a prescription and/or a doctors note but I don't have a prescription since you can get the mini pill for free in a pharmacy without a prescription. Does anyone have any experience with this? I'm going abroad for the first time and I'm going with my boyfriend and his family and I don't really want to ask them because it would obvs be a bit awkward and I'm already nervous because I'm terrified of flying

Hi and welcome to the boards, Noveri!
I can’t speak from my experience, but I understand it makes you nervous (as I’m in a similar place figuring out flying with prescription meds). However, as it is a over-the-counter medication in the UK there really shouldn’t be any problems with that. Just make sure you have it in it’s original packaging so it is identifiable, and taking condoms with you just in case something happens with it might easy your worries too. Does that help?
