birth control

Unread post by Questionss »

If you are on birth control pills and ever experience diarrhea or vomiting what should you do? Ive read that either of those things would decrease the pills effectiveness but if it were to happen how should i go about it? Do you just take the pills as normal or do you have to take two or something? I just wanted to know now in case this ever did happen in the future

If either of those things happen within an hour or so of taking the pill, then what you want to do is take a replacement pill just in case.

Hi Questionsss,

The best person to answer that question is the healthcare provider who proscribed you the pills.

Oral contraceptives are just as effective during the placebo week, so long as you start your next pack on time.

Truly, there is no reason to shorten the placebo week by a couple days, and we see a lot of users who make mistakes or worry when they mess around with how they use their pill. So you really just want to take it as directed, which means including that seven day break.
