Sex "toys"?

Unread post by ssiamready »

Hi! It's my first time on this website, so I wanted to see if I could find an answer to an internal question I've been wondering for a little while. :?

Lately, I've found myself inclined to explore what exactly arouses me. I have masturbated using my fingers before, but it's never really felt 'good,' just thrilling (which is okay in it's own way). So, as I'm growing more comfortable with being intimate with my body, I have started to think about the concept of replacing my fingers with objects.

Of course, I want to be as safe as possible, since I am technically still a minor, and I want to keep my sexual desires to myself to hold onto my sense of security. I've read through a few other articles that talk about possible household items I could try, but I do not have any condoms that I could use with them. I do not want to go out and buy any in person nor online. SO, I am wondering:

- Are there any hosuehold items that could be used for masturbation SAFELY without condoms?

- Is there anything that could act as a potential replacement for the protection those condoms provide? (if any)

Thank you for reading! :) I'm still nervous to even post this online, but searching it up does not give me any clear answers.

Hi there! Have you read our article on this, D.I.Y Sex Toys: Self-Love Edition?

It covers household items for masturbation for all body parts, not only for vaginal insertion. Still, it explains how to decide what is and isn't safe for insertion. We can't really list off things to use because we're not sure what you own or have access to, but we can teach you how to figure out whether something is safe for that or not.

If you don't want to get condoms, you could also try household items as vibrators for clitoral stimulation, which is the most common way people with a vulva masturbate (the article provides examples of exact items you can use for that). Condoms are still going to be your best way to go for safety if you're going to use anything for insertion, though, and there isn't really a replacement for them. Is there a reason you don't want to buy some? There are places you can get some for free too, btw, happy to share those with you.
