Can I get my period and still be pregnant?
Hii,
This is an embarrassing ask since online theres so much misinformation and I cannot seem to calm down. Every month Ive been getting my period normally. Last month it was really early, started off very light, got heavier with harsh cramps, then after it calmed down I was still cramping with very mild bleeding (light spotting for abt 3 days). It’s been almost three weeks since that happened. Ive been experiencing nausea for the past month, they seem to get worse, my breasts feel very sensitive and Ive been getting a lot of acne. So my question is, should I still worry about being pregnant after I got my period? It’s odd cuz Ive never had sex, but other sexual activities (fingering, oral, etc) and I’m scared that in one of these acts something might’ve gotten in me.
Thanks so much!!

Hi Vs06, no need to feel embarassed, we're here to help.
Considering you didn't have insertive sex and you have been getting your period normally, the risk and possibility that you're pregnant is pretty much nonexistent here. Unless you rubbed your genitals against his without any clothes on, the acts you mentioned have no pregnancy risk.
We have a whole pregnancy panic series, I want you to read this one article from: The Pregnancy Panic Companion: When You've Had a Period
Also, we have a guide about what has and doesn't have pregnancy risk, you can reference it from now on: Can I Get Pregnant, or Get or Pass On an STI From That?
