I don’t really feel anything when I touch or try to stimulate my perineum

Hi, I’m 18 and MtF, this is something I’ve noticed before but I tried again recently and … touching my perineum just doesn’t feel like anything? I’m not sure what its supposed to feel like, I feel a bit of pressure like if I were to push a piece of skin like my arm or leg but it doesn’t really feel pleasurable or erotic, nor sensitive like how I’ve heard it described. I tried both touching, pushing and massaging but no dice. I saw online that it could be a medical issue but idk if that’s just the internet over exaggerating things/me being a hypochondriac. If anyone could explain or give me guidance it’d help a lot!

It seems like you're worried about the lack of sensation on your perineum, and that it may be connected to some sort of medical issue, correct? Well to start off, what you have described does not show any signs of being a medical condition so far, but a reminder that we cannot diagnose, only provide education.

The perineum can be, for some, a sensitive skin zone where if stimulation is applied, nerve endings in the skin react with a pleasing sensation. This is not the case for everyone though, as some people's skin is just more or less sensitive in different areas. Arousal also plays a big part in finding these sensations pleasurable, just like how touching any part of the body when not feeling aroused may not feel as good or sensitive at first.
